Yay! Its nearly Grand National time again, the race has been held at Aintree every year since 1839 and is the most-watched horse race on the planet! I wanted to try and capture the incredible atmosphere, with the crowds, the colours and the horses thundering past. Took a while to paint, but I love this one. lots of great memories. Coming from a split red/blue family its great to see my Everton brothers so happy! To celebrate, I am taking 20% off my "At the Match" Everton prints until next Saturday. This is a print of my painting of Everton fans celebrating a goal. My bother and two brother in laws are in the crowd! Zoom in and look carefully, you may see yourself!
