A high-quality Giclee print of 10 Admiral Grove, Liverpool - the childhood home of Ringo Starr. He and his Mum moved from Ringos birthplace (Madryn St) to Arnold Grove when Ringo was three, as German bombing in the second world war damaged the property. Admiral Grove is where Ringo grew up, the place he called home until he moved to London in late 1963.
He paid homage to both addresses in his 2008 song “Liverpool 8” and remembered Admiral Grove fondly saying “I remember the Admiral Grove house, and that didn't have a garden either. It had a toilet down the yard; we never had a bathroom. But it was home, and it was fine. We had two bedrooms: one for my mum, and one for me”
This is just one of my many Beatles themed paintings. Visit my gallery to see the whole collection. and discover how each piece beautfully complements their enduring spirit.
